5 Key Exercise Actions to Kick Start 2014
I know that getting started after even a short absence from exercise can be challenging but you can Kick START your health and fitness in 2014 with 5 Key Exercise Actions:
S – is to Show Up: It may sound very obvious but this is huge! In my experience over many years, showing up is half the battle. Those who consistently show up at the start and persevere and get into the habit of regular exercise succeed. Those who don’t fail! You just have to believe that you can do this!
T – is for Time: Again it sounds very obvious that you need time for exercise and it competes with many other activities in our busy daily schedules. Unfortunately, exercise is more often than not treated as a low priority and as such is discarded when we run out of time. So you must treat exercise as a high priority and then you will give it the attention it deserves!
A – is for Accountable: The more accountable you are for your exercise the more likely you are to show up and get it done. So find someone to hold you accountable; it could be a family member, a friend or a group. If you exercise together [it doesn’t have to be every day] and you agree dates and times for exercise, it is much harder to break this commitment.
R – is for Results: You should aim to have a clear picture in your mind about the outcome or result you want to achieve. Whatever it is, it should be specific and you should be able to measure it, so you know how you are doing. It must be realistic which means that it should be challenging but you feel confident that you will achieve it.
T – is for Take the Challenge: Make your New Year Resolution today and sign up for the FREE 30 Day Exercise Challenge. Doing the Challenge will enable you to put these 5 key exercise actions into practice and by doing so you will set yourself you for future success.
